Contractor-side AI tools can account for the complexity of tenders by incorporating variables such as contractor backlog, regional experience, project-type specialization, and alliance status with local partners. The results are high precision estimates of tender outcomes, which can be predicted with accuracy as high as 96%.

AI use by contractors is not limited to bidding strategies. They are also used to produce precise cost estimates—through tools such as Autodesk ProEst, Ediphi, HeavyBid, Trimble, Pinpoint, Buildxact and Sage. Furthermore, specific tools exist to assist contractors in the task of organizing, tracking and submitting complex tender packages, such as Autodesk BuildingConnected, Trunk Tools, Procore, Pantera, SmartBid and CMIC.”
