“One of the more unique applications that moved on to jobsites this year came from fintech company Trunk Tools. The firm introduced its AI-based TrunkText, a clever tool designed to get quick answers to field activities. According to the firm, TrunkText is now used in pilot programs on construction projects with more than $2.4 billion in combined contract value. Firms testing the technology include Suffolk Technologies, a venture-capital construction technology company affiliated with Suffolk Construction and DPR Construction.”
